TOM THE TURKEY PIN

Materials Needed: small amounts of brown, yellow, orange, and red worsted weight yarn, F hook, Sewing needle, 2 googly eyes, pin back or magnet, hot glue gun

Directions:

with brown, ch 4, join with a sl st to form a ring

round 1 - ch 2, work 7 hdc in ring, join with a sl st to top of ch 2 (8)

Round 2 - ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, 2 hdc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of ch 2 (16)

Round 3 - ch 2, hdc in next st , 2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 2 sts around, join with a sl st to top of ch 2 (21) Fasten off.

Feathers:

Attach orange to any st with a sl st, in the front loop only, work sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, all in the same st, join yellow with a sl st and work a sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, in next st , repeat with the colors shown fasten off.

Beak:

ch 4 work a sc in 2nd ch from hook, a hdc 3rd and 4th ch from hook and fastel off leaving a small length of yarn to sew with.

Waddle:

ch 6, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in next 3 chs, hdc in last ch and fasten off leaving a length of yarn to sew with.

Attach beak and waddle as shown in picture, glue on eyes and pin back or magnet.
