A panel afghan is worked width wise, you will need to make approximately 8 -10 panel for an afghan. The number of panels greatly depends on the width of each panel. The length of your panel is completely your choice. Materials Needed: worsted weight yarn, I hook Special Stitches: Reverse Single Crochet: Working from left to right, insert hook in next st to the right, yo, draw through st, complete as for sc (Note: if you are left handed here are your directions Working from right to left, insert hook in next st to the left, yo, draw through st, complete as for sc) BLO- Back loops only FLO- Front loops only Directions: ch 30 Row 1- dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each remaining ch, DO NOT TURN YOUR WORK (28 dcs, beg ch 3 counts as 1st dc) Row 2 - ch 1, reverse sc in each dc in the BLO across, DO NOT TURN Row 3- ch 3, dc in each of the FLO that were skipped in previous row, DO NOT TURN YOUR WORK Rows 4-9 - Repeat rows 2 and 3, 3 more times Row 10 - ch 3, turn, dc in each st across, turn Row 11- ch 3, dc in each st across Repeat row 2-11 until your piece measures 36 inch or until desired length
