TIC TAC TOE ON THE GO PURSE

Materials Needed: about 2 ozs of each color blue and a small amount of white, G hook, Sewing Needle.

Make 18 of the squares below

ch 6 join with a sl st to form a ring

round 1 - ch3, 2 dc in ring ch1, *3dc ch 1,* 3 times total, join with a sl st in top of ch 3, fasten off

round 2 - join yarn in any ch 1 space with a sl st , ch 3 , work 1 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, in same sp,* bpdc around next 3 dc on previous round, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, in next ch 1 sp* repeat from *to* 3 times total, bpdc around next 3 dc on previous round, join with a sl st in top of ch 3. Fasten off

Straps:

Make 2

ch 96, hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch, ch 2 turn, hdc in each st across and fasten off.

sl st the entire purse together as shown in the picture and sew the straps on.

Game pieces:

for the X pieces Make 5 - with white and G hook

ch 4, join with a sl st to form a ring

Round 1 - ch 2, hdc 9 tmes in ring, join with a sl st to top of ch 2 (10)

Round 2 - ch 2, work hdc in same st as joining, work 2 hdc in each st around (20) join with a sl st,

Round 3 - sl st in each hdc around, join to first st and fasten off

with needle and blue thread stitch an X across the middle of the circle

For the O pieces- make 5 - with white and G hook

ch 4, join with a sl st to form a ring

Round 1 - ch 2, hdc 9 tmes in ring, join with a sl st to top of ch 2 (10)

Round 2 - ch 2, work hdc in same st as joining, work 2 hdc in each st around (20) join with a sl st, attach blue with a sl st

Round 3 - sl st in each hdc around, join to first st and fasten off
