Peppermint dishcloth

Materials Needed: one ball of white and red worsted weight cotton yarn, H hook

Directions:

With red yarn, ch 5

join with a sl st to form a ring

Round 1 - ch 3, work 11 dc in ring just made, join with a sl st to top of ch 3 (12)

Round 2 - ch 3, work 2 dc in next st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) repeat this around, join with a sl st to top of ch 3 (21) Fasten off red

Round 3 - join white with a sl st, ch 3, (2 dc in next st, dc in next st) 9 times, in next 2 sts work 2 sts in each, join with a sl st to top of ch 3

Round 4 - ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in next st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in each of the next 2 sts) 9 times, dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, join with a sl st to top of ch 3, Fasten off white

Round 5 - join red with a sl st, ch 3, dc in same st 2 dc in the next st (dc in next 3 sts, work 2 dc in each of the next 2 sts) 9 times, dc in next 3 sts, work 2 dcs in the next st, dc in next st, join with a sl st to top of ch 3

Round 6 - ch 3, dc in same st, (dc in the next 3 sts, 2 dcs in next st) 18 times, join with a sl st to top of ch 3. Fasten off red yarn

Round 7 - Join white yarn with a sl st, sc in each st around, Join with a sl st to 1st sc. Fasten off white.
