Materials Needed: small amount pink and white worsted weight yarn, H hook
Directions:
makes a 7 inch square
ch 5 join with a sl st to form a ring
round 1 - ch3, 2 dc in ring ch1, *3dc ch 1,* 3 times total, join with a sl st in top of ch 3
round 2 - ch 3, bpdc around next 2 dc on previous round, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, in next ch 1 sp,* BPDC around next 3 dc on previous round, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, in next ch 1 sp* repeat from *to* 3 times total, join with a sl st in top of ch 3 fasten off pink
Round 3 - attach white in any ch 1 sp with a sl st, ch 3, dc in same st, ch 1, 2dc in same st, ( FPDC around next 7 st in previous row, in next ch 1 sp work, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) repeat this 3 times join with a sl st to top of ch 3 and fasten off white
Round 4 - attach pink in any ch 1 sp with a sl st, ch 3, dc in same st, ch 1, 2dc in same st, ( BPDC around next 11 st in previous row, in next ch 1 sp work, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) repeat this 3 times join with a sl st to top of ch 3 and fasten off pink
Round 5 - attach white in any ch 1 sp with a sl st, ch 3, dc in same st, ch 1, 2dc in same st, ( FPDC around next 15 st in previous row, in next ch 1 sp work, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) repeat this 3 times join with a sl st to top of ch 3 and fasten off white
Round 6 - attach pink in any ch 1 sp with a sl st, ch 3, dc in same st, ch 1, 2dc in same st, ( BPDC around next 19 st in previous row, in next ch 1 sp work, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) repeat this 3 times join with a sl st to top of ch 3 and fasten off pink
Round 7 - attach white in any ch 1 sp with a sl st, ch 3, dc in same st, ch 1, 2dc in same st, ( FPDC around next 23 st in previous row, in next ch 1 sp work, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) repeat this 3 times join with a sl st to top of ch 3 and fasten off white
