Fun Flower Purse

Materials Needed:

Small amounts of  purple, yellow blue, orange, pink, and aqua worsted weight cotton or acrylic yarn, Sewing needle, H hook, small button

Directions:

with purple yarn ch 26

Row 1 - dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each remaing ch, working on the back side of the chain dc in each free loop across, join to the top of beg ch 3

Row 2-3 -  ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach blue yarn

Row 4-6 - ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach aqua yarn

Row 7-8 - ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach purple yarn

Row 9-11 -  ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach blue yarn

Row 12-13-  ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach aqua yarn

Row 14 -  ch 3, dc in each st around,  12 dc from the edge you will work a dc then ch 8 for button loop, dc to the end join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, Fasten off.

Strap:

on the side of the bag attach yellow yarn, ch 58 attach with a sl st on other side of the bag, sc in each st across, sl st in side of bag, sc along the strap again to other side sl st in side of bag. Fasten off Yellow.

Flowers:

Popcorn - work 5 dc in stitch indicated, remove hook from yarn,  insert hook in first dc of the group, pull the dropped loop through

Make 3 one in orange, yellow and pink.

ch 6, join with a sl st to form a ring

ch 3, work 4 dc in ring,  remove hook from yarn, insert hook in top of ch 3, and back into dropped  loop of 4th dc, and pull through popcorn just formed, work 4 more popcorns, join to first popcorn and fasten off leaveing a long length of yarn to sew with.  Sew to rounds 9-11 of bag. 

Sew button to bag on round 14.
