Special Stitches: 

V-stitch - dc, ch 1, dc

Directions:

ch 46

Row 1 - in 5th ch from hook work v-stitch (dc, ch 1, dc)  *sk 2 chs, work 3 dcs in next ch, sk 2 chs, v-stitch in next ch* repeat from *to* until last 5 chs, sk 2 chs, 3 dcs in next ch, sk 1 ch, 1 dc in last ch, turn

Row 2 - ch 3, * sk 2 sts, work 3 dcs in center dc of next 3dc group, work a v-stitch in the ch space of next v-stitch* repeat from*to* ending with a dc in the top of the turning ch, turn

Row 3 - ch 3, *v-stitch in ch sp of next v-stitch, work 3 dc in center dc of next 3 dc group* repeat from *to* ending with a dc in top of turning ch, turn

repeat rows 2 and 3 until your piece is 12 inches squares.
