Christmas Tree ornament/fridgie

Materials Needed:  small amounts of green and brown worsted weight, small amount of size 5 thread, G hook, Size 1 hook

Directions:

ch 10

Row 1 - hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in the last 8 chs,  ch 1 turn  (9 total)

Row 2 - sc dec, sc in next 5 sts, sc dec, ch 1 turn

Row 3 - sc in each st across, ch 1 turn  (7 total)

Row 4 - sc dec, sc in next 3 sts, sc dec, ch 1 turn

Row 5 - sc in each st across, ch 1 turn ( 5 total)

Row 6 - sc dec, sc in next  st, sc dec, ch 1 turn

Row 7 - sc in each st across, ch 1 turn ( 3 total)

Row 8 - sc dec, sc in next st,  ch 1 turn

Row 9 - sc dec  in last 2 sts, ch 1 

sc evenly around the entire tree, fasten off

Bottom of tree-

work 2 dc in 4th sc from bottom, dc in next st, 2 dc in last st, fasten off

Garland-

with size 5 thread and size 1 hook, join yarn in bottom corner, ch 16, join to other side of tree, ch 13, join to other side of tree, ch 8 join to top of tree. Fasten off.
