CHAIN STITCH SOAP SAVER or SACHET

Materials Needed: about 1 - 1 1/2 oz worsted weight cotton yarn, H hook

Directions:

ch 16

Round 1 - hdc in 2nd ch from hook and each remaining ch , hdc around the back side of the ch and join with a sl st to the first hdc

Round - using a stitch marker to mark the first st, hdc around , join with a sl st to first hdc

Round 3 - hdc in first st, ch 3, skip a st, sl st in next st, ch 3 skip a st, sl st in next st

Round 4 - sl st in the 1st hdc on last round, ch 2 work 2 dc in each ch 3 sp, join with a sl st in top of ch 2

Round 5 - ch 3 skip a st, sl st in next st around, sl st in last st

Round 6 - ch 3, work 2 dc in each ch 3 sp, sl st into top of ch 3

Round 7 - repeat round 5

Round 8 - repeat round 6

Round 9 - repeat round 5

Round 10 - repeat round 6

Round 11-12 - ch 2 hdc in each st around

Round 13 - repeat round 5

Round 14 - ch 3 work 3 dc in each ch 3 sp around join with a sl st into top of ch 3, Fasten off

TIE:

ch 90 sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch, fasten off. Weave through round 13 and tie in front.
