Carley Flowers These flowers are very simple to make. Weaving in the ends and sewing them together takes most of the time. Use any color combination that you like. Materials Needed: Small amounts of any colored yarn, I and H hook, sewing needle Super Triple Crochet - STC - Is used for the main petal of the flower. Super Triple Crochet - STC - YO hook 3 times, insert hook in stitch indicated, YO, draw a loop through, (YO, draw through 2 loops on hook) 4 times Treble crochet- TC is used for the small petal in the flower, a picture of it can be found at Stitch Guide Treble Crochet -TC- YO hook twice, insert hook in stitch indicated, YO, draw a loop through, ( YO, draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times Directions: With I hook make 3 large petals ch 4 join with a sl st to first ch to form a ring ch 4, work 7 STC's in the ring just formed. Fasten off and weave in ends. With I hook make 3 small petals ch 4 join with a sl st to first ch to form a ring ch 3, work 6 TC's in the ring just formed. Fasten off and weave in ends. With H hook make 1 center piece ch 2, work 7 sc in 2nd ch from hook, fasten off Sewing the flower together. The 3 large petals are placed together and sewn and then the 3 smaller petals are placed one at a time on the 3 larger petals and sewn on.
