Calvary Bookmark

 
Materials Needed: small amounts of white and blue size 10 thread, size 7 crochet hook, 3 equal length of 1/8 inch  ribbon

Directions:

with white ch 65

Row 1 - dc in 5th ch from hook, (ch 1, sk a st, dc in next st) repeat 30 times, ch 4 turn

Row 2 - dc in dc on previous round, (ch1, dc in dc on previous round) repeat 29 times, ch 1 dc in 3rd ch of beg ch 5 on row 1, ch 4 turn

Row 3 - dc in dc on previous round, (ch1, dc in dc on previous round) repeat 29 times, ch 1 dc in 3rd ch of beg ch 4 on row. fasten off white.

attach blue on end of bookmark in the left or right corner (depending on if you are left or right handed) corner with a sl st,  ch 3, work 4 dc in same sp,  in next ch 1 sp work 3 dc, in next ch 1 sp work 1sc, in next sp work 5 dc, (in next ch 1 sp work 3 dc, in next ch 1 sp work 1sc) repeat 15 times  work 5 dc in next sp, work 1 sc in next sp work 5 dc in next sp (in next ch 1 sp work 3 dc, in next ch 1 sp work 1sc) repeat 14 times, work 3 dc in next sp, join with a sl st to the top of ch 3  fasten off blue. 

Weave the 3 equal lengths of ribbon through the dc on row 1-3.
