REVERSIBLE BACK POST SQUARE

This square looks beautiful on both sides, one side is textured and the other side is flat. Will make a very warm blanket.

Materials Needed: small amounts of 2 different colors yarn, H hook

Directions:

ch 5 join with a sl st to form a ring

round 1 - ch3,  2 dc in ring ch1, *3dc ch 1,* 3 times total, join with a sl st in top of ch 3

round 2 - ch 3, bpdc around next 2 dc on previous round, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, in next ch 1 sp,* bpdc around next 3 dc on previous round, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, in next ch 1 sp* repeat from *to* 3 times total, join with a sl st in top of ch 3  fasten off brown.

Round 3 - join green in any corner space and work ch 3, dc, ch 1, 2 dc , bpdc in next 7 dc on previous round, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, in next ch 1 sp,* bpdc in next 7 dc on previous round, 2 dc. ch 1, 2 dc in next ch 1 sp* repeat form *to* 3 times total , bpdc in last 2 dc on previous round, join with a sl st to top of ch 3  fasten off green.

round 4 -  join brown  in any corner space and work ch 3, dc, ch 1, 2 dc , bpdc in the next 11 dc on previous round, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, in next ch 1 sp,* bpdc in next 11 dc on previous round, 2 dc. ch 1, 2 dc in next ch 1 sp* repeat form *to* 3 times total , bpdc in last 2 dc on previous round, join with a sl st to top of ch 3  fasten off brown.

Round 5 - join green in any corner space and work ch 3, dc, ch 1, 2 dc , bpdc in next 15 dc on previous round, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, in next ch 1 sp,* bpdc in next 15 dc on previous round, 2 dc. ch 1, 2 dc in next ch 1 sp* repeat form *to* 3 times total , bpdc in last 2 dc on previous round, join with a sl st to top of ch 3  fasten off green.
