APPLE COASTER |

When I was designing this apple I was having trouble figuring out the top, I finished it and realized that this apple looked much better upside down!! So this is worked upside down!! Oh well it works!!! Materials needed: small amount of red and green worsted weight yarn, H hook, sewing needle Instructions: ch 13, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in remaining chs, ch 1 turn Row 2 - work 2 sc in first st sc in each st up to the last st work 2 sc in last st, ch 1 turn Row 3 - repeat row 2 Row 4 - sc in each st across, ch 1 turn Row 5 - repeat row 2 Row 6 - repeat row 4 Row 7 - repeat row 2 Row 8 - repeat row 4 Row 9 - dec sc in next 2 sts , sc in each st up to the last 2 sts, dec sc in the last 2 sts, ch 1 turn Row 10 - sc in each st across, ch 1turn Row 11- repeat row 9 Row 12 - repeat row 10 Row 13 - repeat row 9 Row 14 - repeat row 10 Row 15-17 - repeat row 9 Row 18 - sc in the next 2 sts work 2sc in next st fasten off Row 19- skip 2 sts in the middle and attach yarn with a sl st in the next st work 2 sc in that st, sc in next 2 sts. Do not fasten off, sc evenly around the entire apple when you get back to the 2 missed sts work a sl st only in each st continue to the first sc and join with a sl st Fasten off Leaves: ch 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. dc in next 2 sts, tr in last st, ch 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining st Fasten off leaving a tail to sew the leaves to the top of the apple.
