Tropical Breeze Tote

Materials Needed:  blue, aqua and orange yarn. Small amounts of brown and green worsted weight cotton yarn. Sewing needles and large Knitting knobby for handle info here http://www.caron-net.com/mar00files/mar00kid.html 

Directions:

with blue yarn ch 26

Row 1 - dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each remaining ch, working on the back side of the chain dc in each free loop across, join to the top of beg ch 3

Row 2-  ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach orange yarn with a sl st

Row 3-5 - ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach aqua yarn with a sl st

Row 6-7 - ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach orange yarn with a sl st

Row 8-10 -  ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach blue yarn with a sl st

Row 11-13-  ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3, attach aqua yarn with a sl st

Row 14 -  ch 3, dc in each st around, join with a sl st to top of beg ch 3 

row 15-  working just on the back of the bag to form the flap, ch 3, dc in next 23 sts, ch 3, turn

Row 16-18 -  dc in each st across, ch 3 turn

Row 19 -  ch 1, work a reverse single crochet in each st across, Fasten off

 

Handle, holding one strand of blue, orange and aqua together make a cord that is 20 inches long using the Large  Knitting Knobby. Attach to sides of bag. 

Stitch Tree and coconut to bag as shown in picture.

 Fasten off.
