Pineapple Dishcloth

Materials Needed: Small amount of worsted with cotton yarn, H hook

Directions:

Ch 6, join with a sl st to form ring

Row 1- Ch 3 to count as the first dc, dc in ring, ch 6, 2 dc in ring, turn

Row 2- ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 2, 12 trc in the next ch 6 sp, ch 2, dc in next dc, dc in top of beg ch 3, turn

Row 3- ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 2, dc in the next trc, (ch 1, dc in the next trc) 11 times, ch 2, dc in next dc, dc in top of beg ch 3, turn

Row 4- ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 2, sc in the next ch 1 sp, (ch 3, sc in the next ch 1 sp) 10 times, ch 2, dc in next dc, dc in top of beg ch 3, turn

Row 5- ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 2, sc in the next ch 1 sp, (ch 3, sc in the next ch 1 sp) 9 times, ch 2, dc in next dc, dc in top of beg ch 3, turn

Row 15- sl st in top of ch 3, sl st in next dc, ch 2, sl st in next dc, sl st in top of ch 3.

Working around the pineapple:

ch 1 sc in dc on side of pineapple, ch 3, sc in next dc* 15 times , continue up to the top of the pineapple, ch 3, sc in beginning circle ch 3, sc in same sp, *ch3, sc in next dc* 16 times, ch 3, sc in next ch 2 sp, ch 3 sc in same sp ch 3, sl st in top of beg sc. Fasten off.
