Never Forget Angel

 

With the 1 year anniversary of September 11th so close I can't help but remember all of the lives that were lost. This Angel is a reminder and a healer that I give to all of you. Make one for someone you love.

 

Materials needed: size 10 crochet thread, size 6 hook, 1/2 inch plastic ring, red and white ribbon, pin back 

Directions:

Round 1 - attach yarn to ring with a sl st, work 22 sc around the ring, join with a sl st to the 1st sc

Round 2 -  ch 3, sc in next sc,  repeat this until you have 11 ch 3 sps

Round 3 - sl st in next st, ch 3, dc in same st, ( 2 dc in next st,) rpt this 9 more times  ch 3 turn (20 dc total including beg ch 3)

Round 4 -  dc in same st, ( 2 dc in next st ) rpt across until you have 40 dc including beg ch 3, ch 3 turn

Round 5 - sk a st, sc in next st, ( ch 3, sk a st , sc in next st ) continue across until you are at the last ch 3, end with a sl st  instead of a sc,  you will have a total of 20 ch 3 sps

Round 6 - ch 1, sl st back into ch 3 sp just made, sc in same st, (  ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp, ch 3) rpt across until there are 19 ch 3 sps  Fasten off

Round 7 - attach yarn in 5th ch 3 sp, ch 3, work 2 dc in same sp, ch 2, sk next ch 3 sp,  (3 dc in next sp, ch 2, sk next ch 3 sp) 4 times, 3 dc in next sp,   you will have 6 groups of 3 dc.  ch 3 turn

Round 8 -  dc in next 2 sts, (2 dc in next ch 3 sp, dc in next 3 sts)  repeat across, ch 3 turn

Round 9-12 -  dc in each st across,  Fasten off
