Flower Power Set

Bracelet:

You will need:
A small amount of worsted weight variegated yarn in two different colors; a small amount of  Lion Brand Microspun yarn in color mango; size F (4.0mm) crochet hook. 

Note: To adjust the size of the bracelet, make a chain long enough to wrap around your wrist and add 8 chains.

Straps: With microspun yarn - make 2

ch 47

sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch

Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew with.

Twist the 2 lengths around each other and sew them together.

Flowers: With variegated yarn - make three (2 of one color and 1 of another color).

Note: Popcorn - work 5 dc in stitch indicated, remove hook from yarn, insert hook in first dc of the group, pull the dropped loop through, ch 1

ch 6, join with a sl st to form a ring

ch 3, work 4 dc in ring, remove hook from yarn, insert hook in top of ch 3, and back into dropped loop of 4th dc and pull through popcorn just formed, ch 1

work 4 more popcorns, join to first popcorn and fasten off leaving a length of yarn to sew with.

Finishing: Sew the 3 flowers to the bracelet.

 

Hair Tie:

You will need:
one large ponytail holder; a small amount of worsted weight variegated yarn; a small amount of Microspun yarn in color mango; F hook

Sc evenly around the hair scrunchie.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Ties: With Microspun yarn - make 2

Ch 51

sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch

Flowers: With variegated yarn - make 4

Note: Popcorn - work 5 dc in stitch indicated, remove hook from yarn, insert hook in first dc of the group, pull the dropped loop through, ch 1

ch 6, join with a sl st to form a ring

ch 3, work 4 dc in ring

remove hook from yarn, insert hook in top of ch 3, and back into dropped loop of 4th dc and pull through popcorn just formed, ch 1

work 4 more popcorns, join to first popcorn and fasten off leaving a length of yarn to sew with

Finishing: Tie the ties to the hair scrunchie, sew a flower to each end of the ties.

 

Necklace:

You will need: a small amount of worsted weight variegated yarn;, a small amount of Microspun yarn in color mango; size F (4.0mm) hook.

Note: To adjust the size of the necklace, make a chain long enough to wrap around your neck and add 10 chains. Make sure that you have a number that is divisible by two and adjust the number of chains that you slip stitch into to get to the middle and start the ch 9 part to attach the flower.

Get Started.

With microspun yarn: Make strand A

ch 97

sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch

Fasten off leaving a long tail to tie at the back of your neck.

With microspun yarn: Make strand B

ch 97

sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in the next 47 chs

ch 9, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in next 7 chs

sl st in remaining 48 chs of necklace

Fasten off, leaving a long tail to tie at the back of your neck.

Flowers: With variegated yarn: Make 1

Note: Popcorn - work 5 dc in stitch indicated, remove hook from yarn, insert hook in first dc of the group, pull the dropped loop through, ch 1

ch 6, join with a sl st to form a ring

ch 3, work 4 dc in ring, remove hook from yarn, insert hook in top of ch 3, and back into dropped loop of 4th dc and pull through popcorn just formed, ch 1

work 4 more popcorns, join to first popcorn and fasten off leaving a length of yarn to sew with.

Finishing: Sew the flower to the necklace . Attach the two parts of the necklace (strands A and B) together, leaving a tie on each side of the necklace. Twist the necklace in your hand before tying on your neck.
