Fashion Doll Ruffled Hat

Materials Needed: E hook and small amount of sport yarn

Special Stitches:

dec sc- inset hook in 1st sc, pull up a loop, insert hook in next sc pull up a loop, YO and pull through both loop on hook

Directions:

ch 2

Round 1 - work 6 scs in the 2nd ch from hook, join with a sl st to the 1st sc

Round 2 - ch 1, work 2 scs in same st as joining, work 2 sts in each st around, join with a sl st to the 1st sc (12)

Round 3 - ch 1, sc in same st as joining, work 2 scs in next st, (sc in next st, 2 scs in next st) repeat around, join with a sl st to the 1st sc (18)

Round 4 - ch 1, sc in same st as joining and in next st, work 2 scs in next st, (sc in next 2 sts, 2 scs in next st) repeat around, join with a sl st to the 1st sc (24)

Rounds 5-7 - ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in each st around, join with a sl st to the 1st sc (24)

Round 6 - ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in next 2 scs, (dec sc over next 2 sts, sc in next 3 sts) 4 times, dec sc over next 2 sts, sc in next 4 sts, join with a sl st to the 1st sc in the front loop only (20)

Round 7 - this round is worked entirely in the FRONT LOOPS ONLY, ch 3, work 2 more dc in same st, (work 2 dc in next st, work 3 dc in next st) repeat around, join with a sl st to the top of beg ch 3

Round 8 - (ch 3, sl st in next st) repeat around, join with a sl st to 1st st. 

Fasten off.
